Learning something new…

 I am working toward a move from Blogger to WordPress.  With that move will be a new look and design. I am so excited. In the mean time, I am educating myself about WordPress.  To do this, I am reading WordPress In Depth by Bud Smith and Michael McCallister.  I actually won this book, from another blog, months ago.  Now the book is coming in handy.

I must say, I love to read.  I love to read FICTION – not technical books. 
I think my brother in law would be so proud of me – reading such a book. He is a computer programmer and mathematician.  The only books he ever reads are technical books.  HUGE- THICK – technical books!  He is so smart. I am sure his brain functions on totally different levels than mine – or most people.  But I digress….

You can probably imagine this read is not my favorite.  However, the book is full of good information and well written.  I am hoping to gain enough knowledge that when the “move” comes, I will know what the heck I am doing – or at least act like I do.

So, are you learning something new?  Taken up a new hobby?

This is what I am doing during Grace’s nap time.  You know – instead of the laundry, sweeping, mopping, cleaning….. you get the idea.
