Tempt My Tummy Tuesday… Steak Marinade

McCormick Grill Mates Montreal Steak Season, 14.5-Ounce Units (Pack of 3) Now, I know we all have our favorite steak marinades.  They are tried and true.  We think ours is the best.  Am I right?  Well, I am sure your marinade is good, but I want to share my favorite with you.My hubby and I love McCormick Grill Mates Montreal Steak seasoning combined with  Lea @ Perrins Worcestershire Sauce.  First I pour the Montreal Steak seasoning on either side of the steak.  Next I pour the Worcestershire sauce over both the sides.  Then I let them sit for up to an hour, until time to grill.

Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce, 10 ozWe really like these flavors together and help make a perfect steak.  You can use the same seasonings for a yummy hamburger, too.  Actually, we love the Montreal Steak seasoning so much, I often use it to season my roast before putting it in the crock pot.

Of course when we have steak, I want a big baked potato – loaded – sour cream, butter, shredded cheese, chives …. THE WORKS!  Or maybe my Ultimate Scalloped Potato recipe.  I made my scalloped potatoes, yesterday, and took them to our friend’s 4th of July cook out. They went great with the steaks and everyone was very complimentary.  Just don’t eat them if you are concerned about fat/ calorie content.  This recipe is NOT for the calorie counter.  I am just warning you.  I know they can be made low fat, less calories, etc.  But, then they wouldn’t be the “ultimate”, ha ha!
