Welcome to another TMTT. Lately I have been getting as much use out of my kitchen appliances as possible. It seems almost every meal has been cooked in the crock pot (like last weeks recipe). The Kitchen Aid is helping me prepare my favorite homemade banana bread. And today, I have my bread machine humming away. The kitchen is smelling so great as the bread is baking.
I thought I would share this new bread recipe today.
Ale Bread (Bread Machine Recipe)
- 1 cup warm beer
- 1/3 cup water
- 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 Tbsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 cups bread flour
- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- In bread machine pan, place all ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer. Select basic bread setting. Choose crust color and loaf size if available. Bake according to bread machine directions (check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water or flour if needed). Yield: 1 loaf (about 1-1/2 pounds).
Another GREAT bread recipe is the Garlic-Herb Bread recipe, using a bread machine. I previously shared this when contributing over At The Well website. It is so wonderful and a MUST have, if you love to use your bread machine.
What is y
our favorite kitchen appliance?

Thanks for hosting! My favorite appliance is the stand mixer. We just got one this summer.
Lisa, I love my stand mixer as well. I won my Kitchen Aid stand mixer from another blog website. What a giveaway that was!
Thanks for joining us for TMTT.
Hi Lisa,
My bread machine gave up several years ago, but your recipe makes me want to replace it. That bread would be delicious. Sorry about your Linky being down, I hate it when the Techie Things don’t work. I am sharing my Kid Friendly Pasta Salad this week, it is good for Adults too, hope you enjoy it. Hope you have a good week and thanks for hosting.

No worries on the technical problems, we appreciate all you do! Today I’m sharing my Crock Pot Potato & Corn Chowder (which would be great with your bread by the way!) As always thanks for hosting a great link party!

Thanks for hosting! I shared my recipe for grain-free Super Waffles. They are super high in protein and fiber, but super low in carbs (ZERO!) and use super cheap ingredients! And they are also super delicious!

Thank you so much for hosting! Have a great week!
Thanks for hosting, the bread sounds wonderful. There’s no better smell then fresh bread in the oven (or bread maker.)
It’s hard for me to pick my favourite kitchen appliance, but I do miss my bread maker. I’m looking for a new one at the moment as mine bit the dust! Your ale bread looks wonderful, and it’s lovely to see an ale bread recipe suitable for bread machines. It’s going to be one of the first on the list when I get my new machine!
By far, my favorite kitchen appliance is my KitchenAid stand mixer. I love all the attachments you can get for it. I have been putting my food strainer attachment to good use the past few weeks making tons of tomato sauce
Thanks for hosting!
I have two favorite appliances my Kitchen Aid Mixer and my WonderMill Electric grain mill! With these two I can make a loaf of fresh bread in no time!
That is a tuff decision to make, but I would have to say my Vita Mix comes in first place with my Bread Machine (Zoe) in second.
Today I am sharing my favorite soup recipe – Roasted Tomato-Basil w/ dill. Please come by and check it out, we would love to have you!
